Enneagram Institute Part I Training: The Anatomy of Personality

A seven-day residential training taught by Russ Hudson and Gayle Scott

Part I is an in-depth presentation of the Enneagram as a psycho-spiritual system. It features complete descriptions of the types as well as specifics for identifying them. The Training combines grounded, intellectual understanding with a variety of experiential approaches that give participants a clear feel for the inner world of each type. Further, we employ the comprehensive framework of the Levels of Development to add depth and richness to our discussions. The Levels are essential because they account for differences between individuals of the same type, discriminate between similar types, and help clarify the many irregularities and subtleties of each type-thus making wide-ranging practical applications and personal growth possible.

RUSS HUDSON is the Executive Director of the Enneagram Institute. He is the co-author, along with Don Riso, of the best-selling books, The Wisdom of the Enneagram, Personality Types, Understanding the Enneagram, and Discovering Your Personality Type. He is one of the principal scholars and innovative thinkers in the enneagram world today.

Introduction to the Enneagram (2-day Program)

Introduction to the Enneagram is a dynamic two-day weekend workshop that provides an in-depth look at the nine Enneagram personality types. It is a wonderful introduction to the world of the Enneagram, using an entertaining mix of lecture, video presentation, experiential exercises and film clips.

In this two-day intensive you will gain clear, detailed knowledge of the Enneagram personality system and a deeper understanding of how your own inborn Enneagram type shapes your personality and directs your psychology, emotions, and behavior.

The Enneagram Goes to the Movies (1-day Program)

Learn to identify Enneagram Personality Types by watching great movies!

This full-day presentation is a great way to expand your Enneagram I.Q. and introduce your friends and colleagues to the Enneagram.

Viewing and discussing entertaining film clips from movies old and new, you'll learn to spot characteristic traits and energy patterns of all nine personality types. We'll look at dialogue and delivery, motivation and mannerisms, body language and buzz words for each type.

Often the strongest, most convincing onscreen performances are the result of actors playing characters - both historical and fictional - who are the actor's own Enneagram personality type. This is truly 'typecasting.' But what happens when actors are cast to play characters of a type dissimilar -- or in conflict with - their inherent energetic style and motivation?

We will discuss the difference in feel and impact of actors instinctively playing their own personality style with that of actors playing outside their psychological league.
